Let’s have a look at Stress.

You hear the word stress and you immediately naturally think of it as negative. Stress has been given a bad reputation. Like all things in life duality applies to stress as well.

With current lifestyles, we live in a state of heightened anxiety for a long period. This anxiety is caused by having this need to be constantly busy, everything has to be quicker faster effective. We are on a adrenal rush most of the time. Most people want to be with the flock or ahead of the game. This way we feel we are achieving so much. We are progressive, successful and with the times.

Did you ever think who is dangling the rush faster quicker better carrot in front of you? Where we going? What will you say to yourself at the end of the day? When you burned out, you are depressed, sick, lonely……

This whole lifestyle creates continuous stress in the body. The body does not have time to discharge or release the stress build-up. Which is what the body is naturally designed or created to do. We have gone against nature or being part of nature. This is whole discussion on its own for another time.

Long term impact of built-up stress can effect mental, physical and emotional health and decrease in self-worth.
